Tut – Notes from the Universe!

admin 28 Jan 2010 | : Resources, Staff Development

I was thinking the other day about some of the things I enjoy during my work week.  Tut’s Notes from the Universe came to mind.  I was referred to this website a couple of years ago by a colleague.  Each morning, Monday through Friday, I receive a short, personalized inspirational message from “the Universe.”  They are quick reminders about life and the power we have in it, especially to effect change.

Sign up is free, and you can choose the days you receive messages.  In the high stress field we’re in, it’s important to find those little things that make us smile :) .

Disability Resource – Quintessential Careers

admin 14 Jan 2010 | : Interview Strategies, Resources

I’ve been referring to this website so much late, I thought I’d better do it here as well!  This is an excellent resource for job search preparedness.  The site covers just about every topic needed for successful job placement – assessments, resume writing, interviewing skills, first days on the job, job stress, elevator speeches, and so on.
